Simple Skincare Replenishing Moisturizer

White bottle of skin moisturizer

It’s no secret that I have a strong relationship with Simple Skincare. Their Micellar Cleansing Water , and Micellar Makeup Remover Wipes have been my holy grail skin care products since I first put them on my skin. Well I have added yet another Simple product to my skin care routine,  a moisturizer.

I can be very picky when it comes to choosing a moisturizer. I have dry skin and it only gets worse as the colder months approach. But I also have sensitive skin and can be prone to break outs. Because of this I am extremely picky about the products that i put on my face. Simple Skincare has always been a winner because its gentle, has amazing ingredients and their products work!

The Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer is no different.  It is  exactly what my dry skin needed as I am preparing for the fall season.  This moisturizer is light, extremely hydrating and sinks into the skin almost instantly making a nice  base for makeup.

Not only does this moisturizer instantly replenish my skin , it keeps it hydrated all – day – long , goodbye dry patches!

Blinc Black Lash Primer

black tube of mascara primer with wond

Let’s talk lashes. We all want long lashes , volume and curl am I right?
I have the answer for you all. The Blinc Black Lash Primer is the answer  to all your lash prayers. This was my first time trying a lash primer and I couldn’t belive my eyes.

I will admit I was blessed with long lashes but they do not stay curled and I have a  strong fear of eyelash curlers. This primer has solved that. This lash primer keeps my eyelashes curled from morning to-night. The wand is curved to curl & extend your lashes. And if you really want to step up your game use the Blinc Mascara  in combination with the primer and your lashes will be so long you could fly away.

There are no clumps, there is volume, length and curl its every mascara I have tried in two simple steps. I have become a mascara  primer believer.

Mac Cosmetics Fix +

I always thought setting sprays were a myth. I didn’t understand how misting some magical water on my face would have any effect on my makeup.  Although Recently I had the opportunity to try the Mac Cosmetics Fix + and even though I had my doubts I put it all aside and did my beauty research.

To my surprise the magical water , works. This setting spray does so much more than set makeup, let me explain. Mac’s Fix + refreshes and soothes the face while setting any powder that is all the face helping set the makeup and pro long the wear. But also I found that it is awesome for eye shadows.

Have you ever had an eye shadow that you loved but the pigment just wasnt there? This happens to me a lot with any shadows with glitter or duo chrome. Well I have an easy fix for you! By applying some fix + to your eye shadow brush and then dipping the brush into the shadow wa-la! Watch your shadow transform and intensify.

So the breakdown is, the setting spray isn’t a myth. Its helps my makeup stay refreshed and smooth as it claims and It intensifies any eye shadow. It’s a win , win.

Clarins Crayon Khol

green eye pencil
We are constantly hearing about “adding a pop of color” to our makeup looks to make them stand out more. Me personally I am neutral gal, color intermediates me. But I decided to branch out and try adding some color to my every day makeup routine. So I did my research to what colors would suit my eye color most (which is brown) and I decided on a deep forest green eye liner from Clarins.

I  wanted to take baby steps to adding color which is why I chose to do eye liner.  I kept the eye shadow very natural and then added the green very close to my last line and even winged it out a little bit. I will say this green made my eyes POP! The dark forest green made my brown eyes lighten up  and become more soft.

Not only did the eye look work out but the product I used for achieving the look was awesome. I usually stick with liquid eye liner because of its longevity and pigment. But this wooden tip pencil surprised me. It is extremely creamy and the pigment really packs a punch for a pencil.

If you’re looking to add a pop of color this up coming fall – this pencil is your answer.

Back to School Beauty Essentials

hair brush, bronzer , foundation and a makeup sponge
As I start to pack away my room for my last year of college (eek!) I realize that packing beauty products can be the hardest. What do I want to bring with me, what will I need?

This year I decided to narrow it down and only bring the essentials. I needed makeup that would keep it simple and fast because no one has time to wake up extra early to get glamed up before an 8am lecture. So,  I have come up with four products that will give me a nice simple look for heading back to school!

First the famous Beauty Blender. The beauty blender has always been my better half when it cames to makeup application. The Beauty Blender is a makeup sponge that you soak under water and then squeeze the excess water out on a paper towel. This makeup sponge gives a quick but flawless application to any foundation. Plus its amazing for dry skin!

Next in the suit case is the IT Cosmetics CC Cream Illumination. I have never been a fan of CC Creams because they never offered me enough coverage. That changed when I tried the IT Cosmetics CC cream. I had the original formula for almost a year and I decided to try the illumination version for the spring/ summer time and its amazing! Offers the same full coverage as the original, amazing SPF and gives you a just back from the beach glow!

Rouge Bunny Bronzer. Even though summer is coming to an end bronzer stays in my beauty routine all year round. This bronzer is demi-matte and gives my face an all over glow. As the cold months are coming my face tends to get a tad bit on the pale side and I love to use bronzer to give my face some life! Especially when im running on low on sleep.

Last but not least we cannot forget about the hair. The Wet Brush has been an essential for me for years now. This brush is extremely gentle and can be used when your hair is wet. It is perfect for on the go and leaves the hair shiny and soft!
