July’s Star Product

I am going to start off this post by saying the hype is SO real on the new L’oreal mascara.
All the beauty gurus are talking about Lash Paradise mascara and it’s well deserved.

As always I was a little skeptical about the hype. When a product gets so much buzz in the beauty universe I always wonder is everyone talking about it because it’s good or are they talking about it because everyone else is?

So, I marched myself to Target and purchased the Lash Paradise and I have two words for you- HOLY VOLUME! The wand on this mascara reminds me of the popular Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara. I was always a fan of the Too Faced mascaras volume, but Lash Paradise has taken it to another level. It gives you the length you need and the volume you always desired. There are zero flakes, zero smudging just beautiful lashes all day long.
I highly recommend you head to the closest drug store and grab one…or two.

This is hands down my star product for the month of July, it hasn’t left my lashes yet! Some other products I have been pairing with the Lash Paradise is the Jaclyn Hill palette by Morphe. I promise you if you purchase this eye shadow palette you will not need another one in your life. IT HAS IT ALL! ( seriously, no exaggeration) I also enjoyed some podcasts during the month of July. I have a really long commute to work and podcasts are the only things that keep me sane. Summer Glow Routine

Hello All! Summer is approaching us in Northen VA rather slowly this year but that is not stopping me from amping up my makeup routine to add some extra glow.

I took a trip to Sephora and stocked up on some must have highlighting products that I read about in the blog world and to say I am satisfied  is an understatement. I have found some true gems and I can not wait to share them with you all.

First of the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop. This highlighter was curated by the Youtube makeup guru Jaclyn Hill. I have been watching her for years and to see her make a beautiful product is truly amazing. This highlighter is like nothing I have ever put on my face before. It glides on the skin perfectly giving your cheek bones the perfect glow , ever. Now this product can be used on the face, body and anywhere you want to give an extra sun kissed look!

Next is the Smashbox Primer Oil this is the perfect base for my dry skin gals. This primer oil leaves the skin smooth and luminous and is not greasy at all! Your foundation glides on smoothly and lasts all day long. If you have dry skin, I highly suggest this product!

Lastly, The Too Faced Sweetheart Bronzer. This bronzer has two shades , one cool tone, and one warmer shade and in the shape of a heart so cute right? Both have a beautiful luminous finish without the glitter (see a trend going on here? all about the glow. ) This is the perfect bronzer for transitioning into summer it is not too warm and gives a perfect sun kissed look.

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation

Brace yourselves for the best foundation to hit the shelves all year. Yes it’s a big claim but trust me I have evidence to back it up.

I was browsing the aisles of Sephora searching for some inspiration and I spotted the
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in a beautiful glass bottle and the packaging just caught me. I quickly got color matched and picked up a sample to use for the week. ( If you didn’t know Sephora gives very generous & free samples).

So I set out to use the foundation and I couldn’t believe my eyes. First off coverage is out of this world a little bit goes a very long way. Your pores? Forget about them they completely disappear with this foundation. Your face will  look flawless almost like it was “born this way”.

The finish of the foundation is youthful and radiant, It is infused with coconut water to give you a natural glow, and naturally replenish moisture levels. The is the best foundation to hit the shelves in 2015. If you don’t believe pick up a sample and see for yourself!
